NEW YORK · THE SUPPER-CLUB YEARS

Copacabana

Before the cameras, there was the Copa.

The Copacabana is one of the landmarks in the nightclub world Gianni revisits on the show. In “Mr. Copacabana,” he explores founder Monte Proser’s story with author Jim Proser. A later conversation with Tony Orlando returns to the club, the performers, and the people who made those New York nights unforgettable.
